The Companie of Knights Bachelor is one of Brisbane‘s oldest re-enactment groups, providing lessons on swordplay and medieval warfare to the public as well as hosting private Medieval Feasts and Living History weekends.

Origins
The Brisbane Knights is an Australian football club located in Rocklea, Queensland and competes in the Brisbane Premier League – Queensland’s premier senior league. One of the oldest clubs in Brisbane.
Since 1952, this club has participated continuously in Brisbane senior competitions since 1955 – becoming one of the oldest clubs in Brisbane and founding members of the Brisbane Premier League in 1983.
The Knights finished 7th overall and returned to the finals after missing them since 2013. Both Tex Hoy and Beau Fermor left at the conclusion of the season, while Nathan Ross, Jamie Buhrer, James Gavet, Shaun Kenny-Dowell, Zac Woolford and Slade Griffin have moved onto other clubs. Daniel Saifiti (Edrick Lee/Bradman Best/Jacob Saifiti/Jacob Saifiti), Kalyn Ponga were selected by NSW/Australia/Indonesia for Game I of State of Origin series while Daniel Saifiti represented NSW/Australia in Game I of State of Origin series while Edrick Lee/Bradman Best/Jacob Saifiti represented NSW/Indonesia during Game I of State Origin series while Edrick Lee/Bradman Best/Bradman Best/Jacobman Best represented NSW/INState Of Origin series game 1. History
Knight published widely about local history and became editor in 1900 of the Courier’s evening publication, The Observer. As he got older, his interest waned for industrial and political issues; instead he turned increasingly toward historical research. As an advocate of country people – and supporting Country Women’s Association. Lastly he took part in Imperial Mission to Fronts during WW I while advocating a pro-British imperial stance through his papers.
The Knights have developed long-standing rivalries with Sydney Olympic, Marconi Fairfield and Adelaide City that give young emerging talent opportunities within their senior squad. Additionally, they are known for producing talented players such as Mate Dugandzic and Eddie Krncevic during their time playing in National Premier Leagues Queensland.
The Knights compete in both Queensland Premier League and Masters Competition. Based out of Croatian Club in Rocklea, their home matches take place at Ivan Mesic Memorial Field.
Stadiums
The Brisbane Knights football club are based out of Rocklea and compete in Queensland’s Men’s Brisbane Premier League – Queensland’s top flight of soccer. A member of Croatian Club Brisbane, their home ground is Rocklea Sports Centre.
Team Adelaide United have made an encouraging start to their season, winning two out of their three opening games. Led by former Brisbane Roar coach Karl Dodd and fielding debutants such as Oliver Plusnin, Braydon Doolan, Shelford Dais and Abrahim Yango. Dodd also has an eye on developing talented youngsters such as goalkeeper AJ Kelly as well as Ginjiro Chiba (Luka Pullen) and Jheison Macuace (attacking midfielders).
Brisbane Knights will play Oxley United in a Brisbane Cup game for the first time this season; both sides have had strong starts to their respective campaigns; Warriors lost in their opener while Knights have won three out of their initial four contests.
Coaching staff
Even without playing at their usual venue due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Knights remain committed to maintaining integrity and professionalism during this season. As such, they have implemented a zero tolerance policy against players who do not comply with club’s code of conduct.
The Knights have also implemented various changes to their coaching staff, with head coach David Mitchell taking over and assistant coaches Lachlan Fixter and Alexe Gracia joining as assistants. Furthermore, many players such as Antoine Aubin, Josh Derko, Dylan Kendrick Geoff Hatch Aiden Catakovic Quentin Greenwood and Wylie Hodder have left the squad as well.
