The O’s

It’s a popular spot to dine before matches and offers a match day hospitality package with three-course meals in The 1881 Suite, gallery seating in The West Stand and refreshments at both half-time and full-time. Not only that, but you can watch the game in style here too.
Brisbane has long been known for its delicious fish and chips, and The Fishery on Milton Street is a local favourite. Here you can get freshly filleted, panko crumbed or BBQ fish along with mouthwatering sides like fat hand-cut chips, potato scallops, onion rings or battered pineapple and mushy peas.
Fish and chips are always a hit here, but there’s also an extensive menu of other seafood dishes like sashimi, prawn burgers, seafood salads and more to choose from. Plus you’ll find an impressive selection of cocktails as well as an expansive bar – making this place ideal for spending quality time with friends or family.
The Shipp Inn
The Shipp Inn Restaurant is a convivial gastro pub with three dining areas and an impressive function and convention facility. Specializing in lamb dishes, it also has its own beer garden for casual al fresco lunches or dinners.
This two-story masonry building, constructed around 1879, features a timber wrap-around verandah on the first floor and an arched roof punctuated by a streetfacing gable. To preserve its heritage value, this prominent feature has been restored and painted white to blend in with its surroundings.
This historic pub and hotel was the oldest building on Brisbane Road, the main thoroughfare of South Brisbane. For years it was a successful pub and hotel with regular visitors including painters and dockers.
At Expo ’88, it was acquired in a neglected state and restored as part of an historic precinct with architect Robin Gibson’s help. As one of five nineteenth century buildings preserved and renovated for Expo, it serves as an important reminder of this event which ushers in a new lifestyle for Queenslanders.
The West Stand
The West Stand Restaurant on Brisbane Road is a favorite spot for Leyton Orient fans to relax before or after their match. Situated on a side street just a short walk from Leyton Underground Station, it oozes classic East End style with delicious food and real ales served up.
Brisbane Road has undergone extensive redevelopment in recent years, adding three new stands and large residential buildings on each corner. This gives the stadium its distinctive look, and local residents enjoy taking advantage of these balconies while watching a match on the pitch.
The West Stand is currently being utilized as a ‘premium experience’ area, with no turnstiles and an entirely different atmosphere to the pitch. There’s cushioned seating as well as a bar with windows overlooking the pitch.
The East Stand
Brisbane Road Stadium may go unnoticed in comparison to other stadiums in London, but it offers an unique layout and convenient accessibility. Plus, it is East London’s oldest football ground!
Leyton underground tube station on the Central Line is just a short walk away, while parking can be found at either Stratford shopping centre (one stop/3mins by tube from Leyton), or nearby residential streets with permit-only parking.

The East Stand is an all-seated stand that hosts both home and away fans alike. Although a few supporting pillars may obstruct your view occasionally, you’ll still get a great perspective of the action from here.
