A heavy rain warning has been issued by the Brisbane Met Office for much of eastern Australia this week. It’s not a threatening warning, but the weather in the region is cooler than usual and storms could bring heavy rain to the area. Those who are planning to visit the region should be prepared for the worst case scenario and plan for a short holiday.

Heavy rain is expected in western Queensland on Tuesday and Wednesday, courtesy of thunderstorms and slow-moving storm cells. In the morning, the Kings Langley area will receive up to 26mm of rain, while the rest of western Queensland will experience showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. The wet weather is expected to continue into the central west of Queensland and will cause flooding and other issues.
