2 min read
When you stay at Brisbane House Hotel, you can expect to feel pampered, refreshed, and energized. The hotel has 24 guest rooms and suites, each featuring a view of the Clyde Coast or countryside. The executive suites feature four-poster beds and spa-inspired bathrooms. Rooms are equipped with a phone, coffee and tea-making facilities, and a hospitality tray. There are complimentary WiFi services in public areas, and parking is free.
When we were there, the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The receptionist was a slightly different girl than the other receptionists, and she made sure to make our stay as smooth as possible. The restaurant was very well-furnished, and most tables had sea views. The breakfast was a generous selection, featuring hot dishes, cereals, and filled breakfast rolls. There were faux crackling logs in the fireplace to add ambience.
The Brisbane House Hotel is situated in Largs, a seaside town in Scotland’s Ayrshire region. From here, you can enjoy spectacular sea views and a daily ferry service to Great Cumbrae Island. Its 24 stylish bedrooms, including the famous Brisbane Suite, are all individually decorated and have direct-dial telephones. A meal at the hotel’s award-winning restaurant, Oscars, is sure to make your stay a memorable one.
The building plans include a light bar and dining area, an open kitchen, and a sheltered terrace garden with heated benches. The six ensuite double bedrooms will each have an en-suite bathroom, and some rooms will feature king-size beds and pocket-sprung mattresses. Bathrooms will include walk-in showers, fluffy white towels, and Bramley toiletries. It is recommended that guests book at least three days in advance to guarantee a stay.
