Brisbane is city of young enterprising people, who in may cases need basic business support to reach their full potential.
Calayst (community + space = innovation) is a new social enterprise whose vision is to catalize, inform, support and incubate innovation. We intend to pursue this mission by experimention with new forms of collaboration that brings together animate entrepreneurs and inniovators.
Our goal is to provide shared basic services in a co-location space, while cultivating community knowledge, coordinated action, collaboration, capacity and entrepreneurship.
Co-location spaces are are proliferating globally and Brisbane needs a viable facility.
This growth is being driven by the need for well located affordable space and infrastructure for individuals and small organizations that do not have the resources needed to support basic organization functions.
